RIF develops and delivers children's and
family literacy programs that help
prepare young children for reading
and motivate school-age children
to read regularly.
RIF programs provide books and other
essential literacy resources to
children, at no cost to them
or their families.
As an approved RIF program,
the Hastings Public Library, along
with the Delton District Library,
distributes new books three times
a year to the 140 children involved
in the Barry County Head Start Program.
